Interesting afternoon down at peli pt today, got down there when and the wind was around 20 so I rigged the CR 6.7 and went for the hour...wind picked up to 25ish aroud mid way through the hour so was way overdone!! came in after the hour and played around on the north 5.4 which was good fun too. pretty happy with the session today really.. hopefully we can get a few points for hour or alpha Laughing P.S. I did see you waving at me several time Lao,  just was so busy trying to keep the rig down I couldn't move a muscle Tongue out

Fun Blast at Melville! Nice and flat and some good gusts coming through.

Saw Marcel and Lao out with the mix.

Started at Melville and sailed a hard downwind hour to Peli point. Unfortunately the boom slipped to the bottom of the cut out  by the half hour and I had only done the adjustable outhaul on one side. Doh!

Chop in the middle was pretty crazy but the set up handled it a lot better than previous attempts. Elmo 29cm weedy and mast at the back of the track. Seemed to keep the shoulder from catching and killing speed in the chop.

Nautical was done on the last run in to Peli where Snake was tearing in.

I stopped for a rest and adjust. Snake I was waiving at you just in case you thought that I had given up on the hour and you stopped. I was waving for you to keep going.

Sailed up wind to Pt W where I saw Pointman on his new toy. Got the good alpha there. Want to post trackpoint 23.18 but not going to lower the standards. Wind was very patchy so decided to head back to Melville. Chased a couple of stink boats and got the fastest 10sec in the flat water of the wake.

Good to see Marcel and Chris having a blast at Melville.

Ended up with a dent and crack in the bottom of the board from hitting something. Don't know when it happened.

Wallyworld.  Pretty patchy, with a few gusts around 22-23K.

First outing on the new CA47!  With the 6.6 Koncept and 30cm C3 Venom.

Way underdone for the conditions, I think I spent more time walking my kit around than sailing, hence 90 minutes on the water for just under 12 clicks and the slowest hour I've ever logged!

But none of that matters 'cos I've been hangin to try out the new toy and even if I only scored a half dozen powered up runs it was worth it!! Smile

It is just effortless going fast on one of these CA speed sticks...first run off the beach was a 33, and I was sailing quite square and just getting in the groove.  Can't wait to fire it up in anger on a decent windy day...I can see PB's dropping fast.

Well done on the hour and alpha's Snake and Lao, although it looks like we're locked into 8th for the month.  Still, we managed the third fastest hour this month and second on distance...pretty good effort guys. Cool

Couldnt resist a Mettams to Sorrento run, not much good for the team but I knew you would all look after that. Still havent got the Sonic wet. Was all ready on Sunday but wind didnt cooperate.

Rocking hour snake especially in those conditions!Cool I have a crack in the bottom of the slalom board so I may have to wheel out the FSW. Don't know if I am working tomorrow. What time are you going?

Nice speed Pointman. Not bad for underpowered!

Congrats on the 3K Chris.

Mark, reading sailquick comments on seabreeze re TP VD with latest software on GT31 and GT11 downloads, he believes the difference is bugger all, and so close its hard to tell dwhich is which. I wouldnt get too concerned with sticking with TP. What did the GT11 read or didnt you have it out with you?

Looks like the rest of you had a fun short blasting session to complete March. Smile

Well done boys, excellent effort!

Not often we get a big black number on the last day of the month, let alone two of them!

Here's hoping we can continue the good form in April Smile
