Started at Cottesloe and had a shortish sail upwind to Leighton and back. Quite hard work on an (in retrospect) underdownhauled RSS 7.8 with the JP 112. I had the room to have a crack at a few nautical miles in the rolling chop but wasn't really quite well powered up enough off the wind. The JP Slalom V 112 is physical to sail compared to the iSonic 111 (2008) but as it has a bit more of a nose off the wind it's a bit more comfortable going over the back of waves. Still not sure how it will compare with the iSonic on the slalom course.

Only planing session in a week at Crabland. Pepe was out so got sucked in. Did a Nmile downwinder whilst the wind was up and then spent the rest of the session trying to get back. Eventually slogged up past the sticks. Thanks to Evets for hanging around as it got dark and Pepe for the refreshment afterwards. (look forward to seeing the results of the secret weapon.)
