Good day at Port Sorell, a bit choppy and rough but great fun. Good effort by all the crew in some very demanding conditions.

almost a good day, little bit too northerly and quite choppy. The drug run felt like i was going cold turkey.(it was very rough)

izaak had our best fin, i wasnt happy with the fin i had.waiting for new fin to arrive.

Great sail today on the sandbar with a lot of the crew. Extemely pleased with pb's after a bit of a flat spot where i did not seem to be improving. just needed the right conditions i guess. Conditions were wild and pretty gusty and the airport said 31 knots gusting to 39. Which is probably a bit of an exaggeration!!! Feel sorry for James who's GPS stuffed up again!!Yell. Again a great day and expect a few pb's from the team!!!Wink

Sonic 90, exocet warp speed 280, 5.6 SSR(this sail feels great)

Went out again a few hours later on the high tide as James was really keen and there was a bit of a swell pumping in. James and i both had a few nice jumps, but it really light and gusty. A bit of a scud came through and i was off, a wave appeared in front of me with a bit of a lip on it and and bam i hit it. Got 1/3 of the way through a front loop. Scared the shite out of me. Anyway topped off a good day!!Smile

First time using a 5.0m sail and an older mistral sle 83L just pipped my old pb off the Stype 126 by .02 of a knot Still stuggling to get to 35 but remembering back how long it took to get over 30 so i am pretty happy with that.   Tough conditions out there but great to see the lads going fast.

Jordan,Izaac,Jason well done on your excellent PBs. Dave and I sailed at SBay in some pretty crappy wind. My GPS has taken in some water and my file doesnt want to open from today. Muzza, I might have to order a new GPS. I will have a look at mine tommorow to see whats wrong with it. Anthony what new fin did you order. Great photos, happy birthday Dave.
