very fluky day on trying to get on a good gust, got out on the slalom board first and thought it was not that windy but up the top it was howling, so after a few runs got the speed board and wind dropped, but still planing.then it came back in but not as strong.i might of had a pb speed if i got the speed board out firstYell.

Conditions were west south west and in typical southwesterly fashion very on and off. Nice to be out on the bar with a couple of the team :)

Sailed at Mortimer Bay, breeze was a bit patchy but nice to be able to use the small gear. Quite lumpy in the middle of the bay which made things quite interesting at times.

Not a bad late sail at Mortimer Bay.  Steve and Bear were out, plus quite a few other windsurfers and kiters.  I think I missed the best of the wind, as it looked pretty windy as I rigged, but never really felt powered up.  Went for a 1 hr, but only got 30 minutes into it and the wind died and I came in!!  Sailed Severne Code Red 6.5 with Starboard iSonic 94 and C3 Venom 36 fin.

Well done on your NM PB Steve, that is great!!!  Top effort.

Well done also to Jordan for topping out the max 2 sec speed for the day!!

Had a fun sail today at Mortimer Bay. Only tried one 1NM so really pleased with the PB. Trying a few new combos today. Isoinc 86 SL with Code Red 5.9 with Select Casper 31cm and 7.0 with Select SL 9 35cm, then tried new/old 07 Isonic 50 with 5.9 and Casper 27cm. Only got 2 runs but felt great, I just bought it from Jesper Orth. It has had the bottom re done, I think it may be Dan Engals old board. I believe it was used at Sandy point. I am curious if anyone knows what top speed it has done. 6 weeks ago since I last posted I think, its been a crappy summer for wind. Too many big highs and light seabreezes. I did the 30 knot NM on the 86SL, 5.9 and 31cm fin combo.

Sailed at Lagoon Bay with Geoff in a gusty WSW wind direction. Confused chop and weed made conditions sub optimal.

I think I did the NM as Dave was rigging up. Thanks guys and a late well done on your 38sec PB Jonno. By the time I saw you did that it was a few days later and too late to post. Bear I like how you said you were using your small gear and you were using a 6.8.

At 100 kilo the 101 is a sinker Izaak. The missile is a submarine unless its blowing 30 knots. At 65 litres it would be like a formular board to you! By the way, congrats on beating your old man, again.

Hey Tom if the Meander dam is a good NM spot where is your post then? A Google E. track would look impressive because the dam shows up empty and under construction.  What wind direction would be best? For anyone interested its 4.6 km  on the ruler almost due Sth of the meander township

Hey Johno, there is a 1.16 NM run from top north western corner to other side near dam wall. SW wind direction the best.

Planning to return on better SW forcast...... maybe then will have a NM track for you.
