Wind bang onshore, all 10second runs were unhooked just incase.  managed not to break anything which was a bonus after my last 2 outings. The swagger was pushing hard and made some miraculous recoverys, after his last near miss we decided to called it a day.

Board the old dog 90L, simmer scr7.0 and sl7 35cm fin.

Portland Harbour speedsailing in a easterly? Not really done if you have ever sailed there from south to west not a problem but east well you have 2 miles of open water for the wind to blow a pretty big chop. But even with up to maybe 3/4 foot water i nailed a 30 knot average!!!

Scary stuff i must admit i got very lucky on last run should have a broken sail at least but that was time to pack up and go home.....

The Matrix done extremely well hats off mate you have got issues ending most of his runs out of the harness(just in case).

Anyway El Reg and Camel were out later so we may have some other times to add.

Great sail today good practice for slalom in the easterly chop. Great stuff from Pete and Swaggs. Chuffed with the mile PB for portland.

Top of the world at the moment Pirates, well done.

Strangely we have dead onshore winds forecast for tomorrow, hopefully we can do as much with them.

Another dimension i reckon Normski these speeds are totally out of sink i don't think you can really get the grasp of it unless you have sailed it!!!(not saying you haven't)

Every run is a ball breaker and very odd as you go past people doing maybe 10 knots slower on wave kit its quite weird the speed difference even when you have slowed the run down you just go passed people like they are stationary. But also good fun for some air time (being very carefull on landings of course).

Anyway more wind soon?Smile

Don't be daft its not about how fast you go!!!!!

Its all about getting on the water sadly we have had no wind this summer and its difficult to be able to drop everything and get out when its working what with other commitments.

I have just seen there are some perfect winds forecast on weds after work to test my new sail. Dont suppose anyone is going near Poole Harbour Watersports tomorrow or weds and could pick it up for me - Tush x15 7m :D All paid for at windtek, but not being delivered until saturday.

If not I will get them to send it by courier.
