Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU  Plenty of wind today.  Pretty choppy a lot of water over the sandbank. Sydneysiders Leo and Craig came down. Leo took away the Lake record. Well done. Think I've just pipped the my NM pb, a good day out.  sonic 90, north ice 5.3 28cm weedie.

Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU CA44+custom,slingshot21,n/prs 4.6 westerly 20 to 30 great days  sailing with Ian k and the illawarra guys as well as Leo and Craig from the cockroaches, used the CA44 for most of the session the best i could manage was low 32's, had a 1hr lunch break then decided to rig the new custom i Had made especially for illawarra and nailed a 34.11 on the dial on the 3rd runSmile,i picked the CA44 up on saturday, the guy told me it will do 44knts, don't know what happened to the other 12 knts Laughing

congratulations Leo on those great speeds Wink

Jindabyne, New South Wales, AU

JP X-cite 120, 6.7 NP Fusion and JPSS 38cm fin.

One of my better sessions on lake jindabyne, The wind is so patchy and gusty that its very hard to get a good run. Tried a new freeride sail today, The Neilpryde 6.7 Fusion and I like it. It seems to have plenty of power with it's deep profile but responds well in gusts and is very stable. I had it very flat but when powered up the monofilm still was touching the boom. I can't wait to get it down the coast as I think it's got some speed in it, Today I posted 27 knots without trying.

Good job on the PB's guys, Can't wait to move to the Illawarra but I'm still looking for a place to live....Thinking of Gerroa or Gerrigong as Gerroa is only 35km from where I'll be working.

Yeah well done. Strong westerlies so Lake Illawarra was the go. Sounds like a winter westerly but without the freezing cold.

Good onya Keef. That Illawarra custom board looks fast standing still.  Plenty of wind in the Illawarra Jase, and Gustbusters or not it's pretty steady.

You'd never believe it Kato, clean forgot to pack the canted fin! Come to think of it I reckon it'd be just the thing for distance records. If you started to doze off on port tack you'd sure be awake on starboard.  Do you want me to post it down for you to try out?

In the chop on the home run! That's good going Keef. I like that idea of the bevels lining up with the wingers. Seems to work as well.
