Pretty wild day on the inlet.  Only a really small window where any of the bank was exposed, today was a very high low tide (if that makes any sense) so the amount of flat water was really limited.  On the inside it was real survival sailing with my board tail walking all over the place through the chop.  I came in after my second run and swapped my beanie for a helmet - I havent used a helmet sailing for about 10yrs. At one stage i was sitting out on the bank when a crazy squall came through - couldnt see anything because of the amount of sand and water flying around - now i know why the guys at The Pit wear goggles and Kato wears his Darth Vader helmet.

Pretty happy with a couple of PB's, could of really smashed them if there was more flat water and the runs were a bit longer - I'm sure i could have gone 35ish...  ah well, cant complain.

Hi Ev,

I think the wind blew the tinfoil off the seagull- thus throwing out my wind predictions!
