Got stood up by the Austar guy again this morning so still dont have cable at my place and wasted heaps of hours (until 11) waiting only for him to cancel due to the weather.  Headed to A45 and sat in the car - it really did not look inviting.  Dirty brown water due to the mud being washed down from the Tarwin River and big rain squalls coming through.  Richie turned up about 12ish and we decided to head to SP.  Pretty glad we did.  Water was much nicer looking and the runs were nice & long, got there at mid tide with it on the rise.

Wind - SE approx 18-20kts, quite a few holes in it though.

Gear - Isonic 101, MFC RC400 & KA Koyote 5.9 (Started on the 86 slim Isonic and was just not enough in the lulls.)

Air temp (for Mick) - 9 deg C

First proper session on the 101.  It is really different to anything i've ever sailed.  Needs a completely different gybing technique due to the width in the tail.  I reckon a couple of good sessions on it in similar to a bit less wind strength matched with a 6.6ish and this thing will be a 1hr weapon.  Not a bad sail today, certainly beats working.

Nice PB Richie.  Makes a difference when the runs are a bit longer than what we normally get on the inlet.
