Dorans, TAS, AU Very patchy at Dorans today, more time spent waiting around for the gusts than sailing. Wind seemed to come in more consistently once i had packed up for the day. Sometimes it takes a sacrifice. At least Steve may benefit from it as he was just heading out.

Is 121 7.8 switchblade

4.8 wave sail,   jp slalom 86.   Should have rigged bigger but wanted to swap rigs to my freestyle board between sessions.

Dorans, TAS, AU.

Really crap sail Cry, hardly any wind and gusting in all directions. Got down there too late but by the sounds of it was pretty crappy all day.

Isonic 107,Reflex 7.0, Sting 40cm. Rigged the 7.0 thinking it was going to get really windy, bad move but probably didnt make much difference.

Gusty sail from the wrong direction at Port Sorell. Great to sail with the rest of the team. Couldnt get it together today

Isonic 86, Aerotec 4.7/Blade 7.0, c3 venom 32(too small)

Port Sorrell, TAS, AU

Good fun up at Port Sorell.  Wind was too broad and not windy enough, but still good to get out.  Very first run was my best one with the wind dropping after that.  A lot of very keen sailors hoping that the wind would strengthen, but not to be. Sailed iSonic 86, Reflex 6.2 and Venom 32.  Expecting a lot more wind.  In hindsight the 7.0m would have been the better sail.  I also had the 5.6 and speed board rigged, just in case!

Well done on your PB's today Ben!

The big plans of blitzing the month didnt happen. The forecasted increasing winds turned out to be decreasing.  Rigged for the forcast, which was a bad idea.  It was an ok sail but not worth the 580km drive. Hit a submerged Branch(again) no damage except for adding a bit of custom shaping to the boom, then hit a rock and reshaped the new Venom.

Isonic 80, Koncept 5.7, Venom32

Fun day, but not quite the wind we hoped for. It was fun going with Gez on the road trip. Nice place heaps of potential on better direction and more wind, good to sail with the team away. Izaak, fantastic to have a sail with you mate!!Smile

Sail Ka Koncept 2011 5.8 felt very sweet but a bit smallTongue out

Isonic 86 fetl so good in the lay down gybesTongue out

Fin Frownc3 32 venom now on the Bar hit a log at 30 somthing and that was it bye bye fin.. 34 Venom felt beter anyway.

SHOULD HAVE RIGGED THE 6.6 Koncept!!!!

Loved the bar on a good wind look out!!!!

Cheers Russ

Starboard isonic 86, KA Koncept 5.8 and Venom 34

Made the trip to Port Sorell on a promising forecast with Russ, was a really fun and interesting road trip Smile

Still haven’t sailed Port Sorell when its good, after three average wind sails there hopefully the next one is the one.

Still a fun day away and always good to catch up with some of the Northern guys

Congrats on the pb’s guys

What do they say about " one last run ". I ended up cutting my foot on my fin and had to get 3 stitches put in it. Can't get my foot wet for 10 days and I'm flying out to Fiji tomorrow night. First real windsurfing injury in 16 years, great timing, and to top it all off my results weren't anything to write home about either.

Good to see plenty of guys out though.
