Jimmy's Beach, NSW, AU

A short blast. Choppy water with gusty WNW winds. Not totally enjoyable.

Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU  1hr is a long time. No wonder we don't do them all that often.  Overpowered most of the time. Naish Hybrid, 6.7.

Hi Darren, yes did a few K's. Think it seems right but my GPS was running low on charge.  Also there's a few strange tracks to places in the lake I've never been to.  But those tracks should have been filtered out. Will check on the gps results software.

Wow!  you guys have all been awesome lately.

8th       Cool

This team may perhaps live in the top 10  regularly now

Anyone thinking of going to sandy point speedweeks?

It's time to come out of hibernation ,havn't ventured out yet.

Alex and I are now itching for some action

Ok I've checked the results given by KA72 with gpsresults. They agree. Trouble is the tracks have some random offshoots in the arvo. Gps results allows you to pick through dodgy tracks more than KA72. . Fortunately I'd saved the morning's tracks to file at lunchtime and they look fine  - 2sec , 5 by 10 and alpha are the same give or take a tenth. The Nm is down to 25.1.  Did 42.2 km. But the whole day's saved tracks have dodgy points. Flattish battery? I could estimate my 1 hr was the same as Darren's, and add the 35.3 km we did in that to give 77.5 km distance. But that's not allowed in the rules.  So I'll have to just edit my results to the morning session. What will this do to our no.8 ranking?  Our thouroughly deserved no.8 ranking? Thanks Akim.  No wonder, when playing for sheepstations, it's recommended to take a gps on each arm.

Here's the dodgy tracks. I didn't go down to the Windang entrance, only did one run to the west of the sandbar. Too choppy don't go there.

Hey Ian your one hour had to be at least mine as you were quicker than I.

The most fun when we are all out there. We have to get Anibal on the team he was passing me like I was standing still.

Hope you get to sleep in today Leo!

We'll have to get Anibal on side before he gets poached by a cockroach. He put at least 150 metres on me that last run up the main straight. Pity I lost my NM, GPSresults had me on the 17th during the NM. GPS racing is a precise sceience though, we have to discard dodgy data. Doesn't happen very often, it's the first time & I've had the GT11 about 4 years.
