Sailed at Pittwater, bad move. Wind was swinging W-NW, super gusty. Should have gone to Dorans, really wanted to try the new 2012 Isonic 87. Sailed with the Isonic 107, Reflex 7.0 and 42cm Sting 2.

Very long day and loads of fun.  Cant wait to get this place when its good!  Walked out the door at 6am,walked in the door at 1.45am, 10hours driving.

Used my new 2012 Isonic W44 today, what a fantastic machineSmile

Henty, TAS, AU

You never know what Henty will bring.  Light wind from the wrong direction when we arrived, but we stuck it out and the forecast eventuated.  As always could do with more wind, but very lucky with the conditions we got.  A long day-trip, I got home at 2pm last night.

Sailed iSonic 86/Speed W49 mostly with Reflex 6.2, but tried the 5.6 for a few runs.  Two squalls cam through, but didn't get the most out of them.  Hard to see in the first with hail and rain and overpowered in the second and just couldn't lock the 6.2 down.  Real potential for some super fast runs here.

Well done to the others sailing Henty, especially with your 1 hrs, that was hard work trying to point back up the run at times.  A PB each for Izaak and Anthony made it worthwhile, no doubt

Well done on the PB's Kaleb, awesome effort!!!  What an Alpha!!

Looking forward to seeing Jez's post Wink

Nice sail at henty, but had the wrong size sails on at the wrong times. Way overpowered on the 6.2 in the squalls and it wasnt quite enough for the 4.7. 5.8 would of be ideal but will be here shortly. My one HR was hell some runs were great and others were hard to point back, still cant complain with a pb. Well done to all who went and on some magic numbers again on what i would say wasnt the best day for Henty. Had an extra 5km distance out of ka72.

Starboard isonic 86, Naish SP60, KA Koncept 5.8, Venom 34 and Slingshot 21

Day trip to Henty with the big guns of the team, great to sail with Dave, Kaleb, Izaak and Perks! Another good and worthwhile trip, always have a blast coming up here and have been lucky to always get some wind. On the trip home I was already looking forward to coming back on another good forecast, can’t wait Smile

Sailed the isonic 86 for most of the day and got my peak speeds on it. Right at the end of the day I got the sp60 out, as I hadn’t used a speed board before and I didn’t want to waste my day trying to use it. Had a few runs on it and had a blast, can’t wait to use it heaps next time.

Big congrats on the PB’s and overall speeds Izaak and Perks, nice work! Kaleb smoking again and great Alpha PB (number 1 in that cat now) Nice speeds Dave with a great NM, good work! Cool

Thanks to Dave for the lift up again, always fun going with you but I will improve my packup speediness, buy some new straps and some extra rope Wink  haha

Sorry for the late post Kaleb, have been asleep at my desk, I’m wrecked but very happy SmileSmile

Sounds like you had to work hard for those results! Nice work!

My board is halfway through a rhinoplasty, otherwise I would have loved to come. The road in looks muddy/sandy in Dave's photo... What's the track like into the Henty? I have a Subaru Impreza (AWD, but not much clearance), it's fine on the track into Mortimer's. You reckon it would make it?
