4700 days ago 2 categories less chop more wind = great day!!!!
started off with the 5.3 on the 48 with the 23.5 lockwood. got a 36.66 on the clock, was getting very overpowered so went in to change down. By the time I got back out with the 4.7 everybody had big numbers, but conditions were decreasing, got another 36.56 and then it was time to pack up.

4700 days ago 1 categories Shark Bay with the northern Mandurah mob contingent.
JP45 Slingshot 20 RSSII 5.4
Tide was lower and Hardie was convinced it would be good, wind highter than yesterday and Mike and I mad our way to the run.
I was thrilled to see 35 on the dial first run then another and another. I never thought I would get fed up with seeing those but that was not what I was here for Moved the mast base back and got a 37 yeeehah... then another similar, then 39.16 on the dial yet it felt no faster than previous ones.
Had a ball. Congrats to Mike on this PB, he missed the best when he was changing rigs.
3 days of prep at here meant I was ready to today, Thanks to Joseph for organising the trip, Sam for his important part in this and Mike and Dot for their encouragement.
Big boost for my confidence, gained 4 knots for my 2 sec and 3 knots for my 5X10
Had so much fun going round again and again. What was funny was the 39 felt no faster than some of the 32s and vice versa. Had 11 speeds greater than my previous pb today.

4700 days ago 2 categories Steve and Mike's day Today, Awesome watching them fly down the run, Steve looked like a man possessed, running in the flattest water and running the longest, he won the day with both sam and I really trying.
Used Nude 46, Slingshot 21, and Gaastra Vapor 5.5m, deliberately chose to rig small as I thought tide would rise and it be a bit dangerous, but tide didnt move a centimetre in 4 hrs, and was almost pefect down the run, previous PB days for sam and I had the sandbars fully exposed and therefore about 30cm lower, (which is the real perfect) 5.9m shoulda been the sail size i needed to use, always run out of wind on the run off the wind. A true 20 to 30 kts, not the BS forecast you get in Perth/Mandurah

4700 days ago Another magic day in sharky.. I was worried to be a crap day so I went for a downy session (7.30-11) thinking I would not sail the arvo. Then meet the boys at 14h.. the tide never moved and the wind kicked in so I could not resist to go for another session. That was crasy good.
It was great to see the Steve and Mike smoking around been confortable. Steve sailed like a champ and he really improved as his number show. Really stoked for the boys and their PBs. BIG congrat to Steve and Mike, pitty MIke missed the strongest...
The 40 was here but I was too tired to push it further, next time

Huge Congrats to all the crew up at Shark bay for an awesome day today me thunks they may forget to come home
Got down there to find Tomski and Crasher watching Porn on crashers laptop with the wind looking awefull squiffy. So I rigged my big kit.
First run out on the pointer didn't last long had to go back to shore for the weedy. Once i got that sorted it was a whole lotta fun ebven though there wasn't a whole lotta wind.
Fun little session, stoked with getting a 27 on the 9.5
