Melville Beach, WA, AU

Nice flat water and reasonably consistent light wind. Iso 101 with 7.5 Turbo and 38 Technics fin.

Macka Packa there, looking good

Pinnaroo Point, wave gear 5.2 sail

Lovely arvo out on the wave kit having fun doing chop hops, duck gybes and the odd tack.

Safety Bay, WA, AU

Got on the water at 3, tide too high so pretty choppy on the run - wind was around 15 - 18.

Had a go at the NM on the Isonic, pretty happy with it as it included a vicious spin out in the middle.

Wind filled in to about 20 knots at about 5, fastest runs were on the F2.

Hot Sails GPS 6.6, Choco weedy 26, isonic 86 then F2 SX 81.

Awwwessssoommmeeee seeeesshhh!!! Laughing Flat water blasting at its best today at Peli point, super flat and nice bit of breeze at times. Just what the doctor ordered indeed. Nice to see JC out and about and catch up with a few others. Foot strapping doing the job well -  I'm stoked to be getting a few sails in lately Cool

Sonic 85, Ram 6.3, Goldwing 32

Another session at Wallworld from Mossie side.

More boats, more weed but also more wind about 5.

A few really well powered up runs through the washing machine for a pleasing speed. Really physical sailing though.

Troutty arrived for a spell and did well to hang on to a 7.8!

Melville Beach, WA, *B111, 86, Reflex 7.8, CF44, GW32

Fun arvo at Melville blasting on some nice flat water. Had a go on the 86 with the 7.8 just to see... great off the wind but felt awkward upwind - the Goldwing as usual was superb. Ricey was going well, didn't spot any other Pinnas.

Congrats Snake and JJ - good numbers for today!

Wasn't expecting a lot of wind today so went to Pinnaroo for a sesh expecting a cruisy sail on the F111.

Got down there and it was nuking, gusting to over 25K.

Hit the water @ 5 on the 90 XFire + 7.6 TR7 + 34 weedster.

A spot PB on average (tantalisingly close to a 30) and NM.  Only went for one mile, cos it was pretty hairy, but pleased with a 28. Cool

Spent the rest of the sesh doing short runs and some crazy bearaways in mental chop.

A fun sesh, pretty lit up on the 7.6, but I didn't pack anything smaller.  Rigged it flatter than usual and wasn't actually that overpowered Surprised.

My 135 is in for repairs after punching a hole in the deck with a broken UJ on Wednesday nite, so I won't be heading down to Mandurah tomorrow.  Today was a nice consolation sail.

Cheers macka! Interesting about the 7.8 on the 86. Do you think it can be run on that board with a little more tuning, didn't feel too top heavy etc?

Snake - have also tried a 7.8 on the Sonic 90l 55w down at Augusta (similar to your 85l). I think they are ok in very flat water but would not want to try it with any lumps. Better suited to 7m/6.2m.

Yeah sounds like a similar story to my 7.5 on the centurion, great in flat water but not great anywhere else really

Nice miles, JJ and Pointy! Bugger about the 135! Drying takes time so don't plan on getting it back for a couple of months.

Nice speeds, Snakey but JJ up there pushing again.

Typically should have been on Lurch today. Never mind.

Looks like an hour mission then before end of month.
