Superb session down at Sandringham, with Craig for a while then on my own for most of the time before Ken turned up after work.
The wind was pretty mental at times, especially out in the middle - and then it would suddenly drop to nothing. Made for entertaining gybing - a couple of times I got nastily backwinded half-way round, and smashed backwards into the water. Probably quite funny to watch!
Finally cracked 33 - Woohoo! 33.08 on the dial, 33.21 according to Realspeed. Sadly the 2s average remains just under. More significantly I beat my previous 5x10 by 2kts. The speeds kept nudging upwards, but I was getting tired from too much waterstarting (i.e. too many cocked-up gybes) and had a couple of scares - foot nearly coming out of the front strap in a gust, then getting a bit of an edge half way down the strip - so I figured I should probably quit...
