you know its a serious sessionn when you end up in emergency for 1.5 hrs,  I was just gonna use the ol' trusty RICE method but the missus forced me out the door to emergency.   i have a hematoma on my footYell, radiologists had left for the day so i dont find out if its broken until Monday. worst bit is i cant sail tomorrow nowFrown. and if broken will be in a cast for 4-6 weeks.  Fingers crossed its ok.

A45 turned it on today, got there early and ummm'd & ahhh'd for a bit deciding what sail to rig.  Ended up with 5.3 Kult, easily powered up enough.  When Kato turned up i borrowed his 5.0 Koncept for the day, it was much better- more stable.  Had a few runs on Daz's new speed board at the end of the day (before i did my foot) and couldnt beat my slalom board times.

5.0 koncept, isonic 86slim, 26cm TM26

Great to see the 40Kt barrier smashed by the pit crew guys today.  First time someone's done 40 on the inlet here at Invy.  My speeds are inlet pb's too, i've only been faster at the pit.

Had a nice swim in the middle of the session when we needed a rescue mission for Kato's board, his rig decided to detach at 42+ kt's.  Good session, Kato's ribs, my foot and Spotty has the plague (or similarSealed).

Tough day in the office!! A little bit of survival-sailing for me. iSonic49, 5.2 Saber then 4.7 Zone

But....... awesome to see the 40 knt barrier broken - well done Kato. An honourable mention goes to Ado with a 39.5, came in for an upsize and while doing so Kato takes the prize. (Adrian then went on to some awesome 40+ numbers after that - missed out by 20minutes Cry , but awesome none-the-less)

Massive speeds by Spotty - I saw a 46 on his GPS.... not sure if he's posted yet.

Thats bad luck Dan hope it turns out ok and you looked like you were sailing well too. Hope its not the same injury as Jeurgen has as he had to have surgery to stabilize the tendon.

Sorry to hear you did your foot Dan, hope it's not broken or tendon damage and you'll recover quickly. I'm feeling it brother, just got my permanent cast today two weeks after the op. Is season ending for me, mid foot broken in 5 places and critical ligament torn, will try to start walking again in May Yelland hopefully baby steps on the boards in September / October. Looks different to mine at least, so there is hope it's only a sprain. How did it happen, back foot caught in strap like me?
