Not often you get a sail in before breakfast - today was one of those days - on the water by 7am Smile

Squally, but the water was still fairly flat on the speed run - good times!!

Sailed with Wend, Dean and Tony

Gusty day - but settled down in the afternoon - along with the tide.

Got outsailed today by No1 Son... Josh managed to hit 19.5KN Two Sec on a 120L and a 4.0 !!  Should have rigged the 6.7 !

Got the text from Daz at ungodly o'clock that he was keen for a dawn session... I stayed in bedTongue out!!

Got down there about 9:30 and slowy got on the water.  Turned out to be a great day, hadnt sailed at my home beach for a while.  High tide seemed to go all day, no flat water awywhere - until late when there was no wind.

Havent seen the inlet that crowded in ages... since xmas actually.  Guess that's what happens when its a 4 day w'end.  Kites & Windsurfers everywhere.

Turns out that the out track for my Alpha took me over 10m upwind of my in track.  Pretty happy with that corner considering.

6.6 Koyote isonic 86slim, 34cm Venom.

Xcite 120 venom 36 Koncept 6.6

There was a rumour around town that the Invy Crew could not sail chop so we thought we would try and disprove this theory.  Besides low tide was 5 a.m. which would have meant getting up at 3a.m. to get our usual flat water.  Not this little black duck!!  Moved the foot straps out on the xcite but could not get my feet comfortable but despite that reasonable happy with my times.

Awesome Josh - welcome aboard. You'd better start being real nice to Dad now that you've got him on a few categories or you'll be on constant disher duty. ;-)

My First time out in ages and I forget my GPS at home Cry

It was a great choppy sailing day.

Thanks for the advise Kato and Dan on rigging the 6.6 Koncept. I hope on the next sail you can give me some more tips.
