Nice day out with the lads, typically the wind picked up as the sand went under.

Stanley, TAS, AU Had a great sail today with Barry and Tom. Went to the third channel first, the wind was straight west so the best speeds were from south to north. Later on sailed the 2nd channel and had a peak of 36kn which felt great. Falcon Fanatic 95, C3 34, Severne Mojo 6.0...

Very windy at Dorans today, it must be something about having a learners day!!

Sailed the trusty iSonic 86, with Severne Reflex 5.6 and a custom C3 32cm fin.  Gear felt great, but the relatively choppy conditions made the bear-offs a challenge.

Broke a batten in the 5,6, so came in and rigged the wave gear and had a bit of fun on that.

Good to see so many people out and the wind stay in all day!!

Very windy, started out with the slalom gear but was way out of the comfort zone at times so changed to the wave gear, much more pleasant. Glad I started with the slalom gear though to get a good 2 second. Was meant to be a learners day....but for some funny reason no learners attempted the 40 kt + winds.

So many people out, it was unreal, looked like a scene at Kanaha Maui.

Dorans, IS101 & R3 5.6. Late sail in about 20-35knots with my new Reflex 3 5.6. Wasn't going to sail today after having a big stack yesterday and beating myself up a bit but couldn't resist using the new sails Tongue out

Very choppy and super windy NW pumping into Dorans. Pretty stocked with finally getting my fastest run ever at Dorans. Had the new 2013 Isonic 90 carbon out for the first time with a 32cm C3 Venom. This board feels super quick and so nice. Started with the 5.6 R3 then tore a hole in a panel (sorry Allen hope you are not reading this). Changed down to the 4.6 SSR which I haven't used for a very long time. That is what I did the fastest speed with. Well done to everyone who sailed there today and Dave with a very fast 2 sec. The standard of sailing has improved so much and it was great to see most handling some really tricky cond.

Naish sp95 and Vector rocket 32 Naish Bullet 6.4 and 5.8 went faster on the 6.4 today spent some time tuning the sails and I was very happy with them for a first sail. at times super overpowered and sailing like a kook Laughing to long between good sails for me I hope the rest of this seasion gets better.

Looking forward to run the Naish Bullet sails on a speed run soonSmile

Huge fun on the learners day the water early was perfect should have sailed harder than that early, but i was on my own with new gear so held back a bit. Then Dave and Jez turned up and provided the incentive to push harder.

fun sail with everyone Dave well done on your peak speeds today.

Well done on the PB FoS, you were sailing really welll on Saturday and will do 30 very soon, then the hunt will be on for 35!!   You just need to bear off a bit more, as you have good speed and control.
