lao shi (41082km): Great team hit out in Shark Bay. Thought I had taken the peak honours but 25 stole my thunder. Quite like Pt Walter except no stinkboats and less gusty. Tight run in to the bear away and a short acceleration. First PB for just under 2 Years! Lurch was awesome! LB6.3, Lurch, KA23, 5kg Unfortunately on the trip home I found the one piece of limestone reef in this whole area and the KA 23 will need some remodelling.

Pointman (25563km): Big day @ Shark Bay. Morning sesh going for speed runs at the top of the bay. Well juiced on the Mistral 95 speed + 7.6 TR7 + 32 Goldwing. Plenty of pressure, but way choppy with the incoming tide against the wind. After a lunch break we decamped to the speed run at the end of the point. Breeze was now 23-28K and I was well lit on the SP47 + 6.6 TR7 + 23 slingshot. Afternoon sesh was the biz, heaps of fun slingshotting into the run. Props to Mark for team peak of the day and Snides for bagging a 40 display speed It was wild and woolly out there, but a lot of fun. Stoked to score some epic Shark Bay conditions to round out the trip. Edit: props to 25 for peak of the day and an awesome 39 average.

JJ (25827km): Francois Peron National Park, WA, AU Epic sail with a great crew - really fun watching everyone up close blasting down the run. Tricky getting through the chop to hit the short run at a decent speed - had a few super-fun slingshots when it all came together. Mistral Lockwood 47, Hot Sails GPS 5.5m, Vector Delta 21 Morning session NM - on starboard - the bay is barely a NM wide so the challenge is to get to speed quickly and then hold the speed into the shallows at the end.
