Peel Inlet, WA, AU

Wild afternoon at Liptons! Waited for the breeze to build from about 11am then it hit with a bang! Rigged my smallest at this point in time  - 6.3 KA Race 2013 and plugged in the RRD Xfire 98 V4 and 32 Talon. Got comprehensively pummelled as the wind built. Afetr a few wild rides on that i plugged in my old faithfull Kinetic 52 [which is approaching 8 years old - one owner as new] with a KA 23 symm [thanks Bender]. First run on that 41.15 on the dial. had a few more runs over the next hour or so but it was very exhausting sailing wioth the 6.3 with some of the bullets easily 30+.

A good group down there having fun. Should be some nice speeds to come out of there today!

Fun day at liptons

Struggled for most of the day with a sail that was maxed  on the outside and to small

On the inside for the run.

Great vibe on the beach with a great crew

Hats off to doctor stroppo who had the place wired.

Also good to get a display Pb.

Mr Stringer was stood up in the choppiest part of the run and could have easily pulled out but he channelled his inner "boat" kept the hammer down and screamed in to the flat water! Sweet run!Laughing

Mr Boat, don't you get bored of 45's?Wink Truly the Zen Beaver Master!

Mark is going to have some fun with his top 10 table ;)

Nice pic Chris at least the barge isnt in the photo !!!!!!!!

Slowboat

the barge is right between the corner of the sandbar and the jetty... there would have been an epic slingshot run on dead flat water in there but the barge was in the worst possible place so it was shut down.

Cheers Izaak

Was that one yours or the old man's?

I think the bent one got out on his today at Melville!

Just ordered a 5.4.... I see you have one, what stick have you got for it?

I have a tush skinny  400-will see if that does the job.

I think you have the old mans. The 5.4 is unreal! Unbelievable wind range! I've been running a x6 rdm 370. And dads been using his on a x100 400 rdm.
