Geoff (4576km):  Pinnaroo Point, WA, AU - 90s F2 Sputnik 275, 6.0 Ezzy Infinity Plenty of wind but couldn't manage any better speed. Took a few scary offs but thankfully no injury or damage. I always enjoy sailing at Pinnaroo (local spot) but I'm wondering what sort of speeds it's possible to achieve in the choppy conditions. | ||||||||||||||||||
Grumpy (8011km):  First couple runs where nicely powered but there where to many yachts out to go for naughties. Tried a few alphas in the flats but the weed was everywhere.

Pointman (29335km):  Pelican Point, WA, AU Saw green arrows on the Melville chart while I was at work and I was pumped! Bailed early and I was on the water just after 4 with my M112 + 7.6 TR9 + 40 Sting set-up pumped for some powered up runs...wasn't to be Dogged around under-powered for half an hour before calling it. Sat around for an hour or so waiting for the freeway traffic to abate and it came back in around 6. I was still rigged, so grabbed the Patrik 135 and had another crack. Still underdone, but found a few puffs around 17-18K and managed a few planing runs to put the smile back on the dial Not what I was hoping for, but at least it wasn't a total skunking. | ||||||||||||||||||
