Took the excuse to take a half day and well worth nicely powered on a 6.2 Atlas with my Rocket 115.

The chop was horrendous though, felt like I was sailing straight into it no matter which way i went!

Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU 6.6 Maui TR9, 44 CA speed ,23cm vector.

stoked with the speed, we have never been able to get over 40 knots at the lakes or lake Macquarie.

The gear just felt unreal. I realy wanted more wind the 6.6 Maui just wants to go just 5 knots more of wind in a gust and you just hit turbo mode.

Although very happy to do that speed in rough water if i can get a bit more wind definately can go quicker.

Unreal to be sailing with Friends.

Congrats to Hue to crack 40 again

Mick great fun sailing with you, get on the speed board you would have smashed your PB.

Congrats Mat another PB.

Yeah incredible speeds Hugh and Byron. It did not seem that windy yesterday. Those speed must be the amongst the highest achieved in NSW. Perhaps it's better to head up to Budgewoi on a NE breeze than down to Kyeemagh. Peter has discussed sailing there on a NE wind so if it blows a NE on a weekend I might make the drive up there. It takes around the same amount of time either way from where I live so it's probably worth the drive.
