Montagu, TAS, AU A short blast, lost all my sailing fitness i had a month ago.

Would have been great to have stayed out longer... but achieved what i came for...

Dorans, IS 107, Sting 2 40, R3 7.8. Trying to back up Dave on NM runs. Went out first up and sailed up wind to above the police academy point then snapped my boom clean at the front! Bugger, so I lashed it back together with my uphall line and sailed back in. Managed to borrow Jezza's boom and went back out. Not great conditions for NM's, Going from gust to gust both under and a bit overpowered. Think I've PB'd?? Shows how often I go for one haha

Great sail at Doran's in a fairly patchy SSW wind.  The new 110 felt great.

Nice one Will and Dave. The wind at Montagu was SW, 23 kn average, from 19 and gusting to 30kn.

It was a good direction for the top of the run, luckily Johno showed me around there a while back so i had a bit of an idea where to sail.

Was on the M 95, OD 6.2, CLW24.

Happy with the PB, pretty slack to do only one run though...

Well done Cookie.  Just had a look at your session on Google Earth.  A pretty good 'one run' PB - well done.  Do you think it is a good spot for NM's?  Looks like the run is just long enough.  How much potential do you think it has for going much quicker than 30 down the whole length of the run?

Heaps of potential Dave, it was no where near low tide at the time. It was a 1m tide which is not very low.

I wasn't very close to the sand bank either. Should be good for NM and Hrs...

The only issue i can see is the colour of the water and the weed growing on the bottom which makes judging the depth a bit tricky
