stu its not like primbee you need a weed fin for thick weed as well as handle  some good size chop, if ive got one you can borrow it

I've got 36JP and 34 Flying Objects weedies. Whats the depth like?

stu heres a vid of the weed bed , basically your sailing chop most of the time and theres some really flat water on the inside  of the weed bed , you could go flying over the handlebars with the 34 , what you need is something  short so you can sail over the weeds and also through some decent chop, i think you know what im talking about
