Stanley, TAS, AU  Interesting solo session in the West Inlet. I'm guessing Cookie has nailed at Montagu with the SSW.

West Inlet  southern bank has split into two distinct sections, with the outer western section now the most useful and the inner section not nearly as good as it was a year or so ago. My tracks tell the story:   http://ka72.com/viewge.aspx?fid=58542&tid=0

Montagu, TAS, AU, A good sail with Johno, tried for an hour on the 112 to start with, then went in and changed boards to the 95.

The tide came in quite quickly in the end so didnt get the nm i was after on the smaller board. Wind direction was SSW but i rigged too

big again, should have used the 6.2... A few more sails at this place should see some improvment i hope

Pretty good sail on the big gear suffering from lack of fitness, 7 weeks bombing round the paddocks in a harvester doesn't help much apart from a few extra kilos.

Well done on the Hour PB Cookie good stuff!! Thanks for the try of your 26 Lockwood fin Cookie it is fantastic just doesn't let go.

Realspeed was giving me a 29.37 NM Oh well this one will bump a 27kt nm off the top 5 list from back in 2008.

Had a good crash today one of those ones when just for that split second that you realise you cant unhook and you have time (1 millisecond) to quietly say to yourself  "this is gonna hurt", any way when i surfaced it was like I'd been nearly stripped, both my paquas were in my hands and my harness was floating away with no buckles left. After a big swim to catch the board I just sat there and waited to be blown over to the opposite bank then tried to jury rig the harness to sail back 4.5 ks but the hook was nearly straight and boom bent but still happy no damage to my new sail.

Lagoon Beach, TAS, AU Bit of a surprise with the wind strength today so had a great sail with Daniel. Went looking for some flat water but there was none with a very fast incoming tide already half way in. Tried the new BP weed speed fins today and I was very happy with both the 34 and 31 which were run on the isonic 86 and blade 7.0 No problems at all with grip and heaps of control off the wind in the chop and of course no weed. cant wait to really crank them up on some flat stuff

Nice sesh guys. Well done on the PB Cookie. Paul, I recently purchased a BP 31cm weedy for LG. I used it on the 90 at Pittwater, it felt super quick and rock solid in the chop. Bad luck on the stack Johno, sounds like a big one.
