Port Sorrell, TAS, AU

What a session! Second last run, i went for a slingshot, as it swung around from the NW and saw a 44.28!(pb) Had another three 43's!! on the dial and to top it off, my first 40 5x10sec at PS, Stoked! Plus improved the spot record! Challenging conditions this morning (dark 7am start on sandbar) but felt dialed in after so long off the speed gear (6months!). Wind was smoking at times and pissing down with rain. But not too cold!

Well its been a fair run between speed sails but it definitely hasnt lost its appeal and pure adrenaline pumping rush rahoooo!

Fairly challenging conditions and props off to everyone(izaak) going that quick in that chop, got guts.

Unfit, uncomfotable, scared, broke a batten, apart from that not too bad. I think that's enough excuses. Well done eyes and the other boys. I think i need a bit more practice.

Stanley, TAS, AU, Early start but worth the effort. Not the normal direction for East Inlet, it was WNW, still fun though.

Pitt Water, TAS, AU. Isonic 2014 Isonic 107, OD R5 6.2 and 34cm DW.

Awesome sail and perfect direction at Pittwater (N-NW). Came in a solid 30-40 knots during my one hour and it was insane. Airport read max 44 knots. Yes should have been on smaller gear but wasnt windy when I went out. Came in to change down after the one hour but wind backed off. 4th sail on the 107 and now have done over 36 knots twice and a 35. Had to come in after my wrist got smashed by the mast and quite swollen. Hoping to get back there tomorrow but will see how the wrist is in the morning.

Awesome numbers there Izaak. Congrats! ( 7am itself is challenging enough for me, let alone standing on a sandbar in the dark and rain about to go sailing)

Well done on the solo effort Cookie. Numbers are looking pretty good!

Low tide a bit too early for me today, but a local surf was compensation.

Well done Izaak, that's just fantastic!!  A new spot record for Port Sorell (and beating your previous spot record for Port Sorell)!

Great going to everyone who got out today by the sounds of the weather reports (serious wind damage across the state on the news).

Well done also to Steve for some pretty gutsy sailing in the SE on the 107 - nice top speed, 1hr, NM and distance!!  You just needed someone to back you up!  Embarassed
