Rigged for the forecast just like Remi told me to do. I'm not listening to him anymore
Very gusty Nor Easter with heaps of chop. Good fun though and I was nicely powered up for the last half hour or so. Tribal fins are awesome. Give you heaps of confidence.
Great to see Mr Flanagan make a return to the water! Been a long time mate.
Almost looked like an 80's heyday with a massive amount of boards on the water.

Fututa 122 - Koncept 6.6 - Talon 40
Kode 86 - Oxygen 5.3 - Makani ONO 26
Forcast didn't quite go the way expected, Like Rexy probably rigged a little small. Lots of confused chop out there and plent of holes.
Nice to not be spining out for a change - Thanks for the fin Remi
Was itching to take the Kode for a spin as it looked like it was picking up a bit, only non camed sail I had was 5.3 and I was quite not powered up but did get my best Alpha for the day on it. Couple of controled Jumps of boat wakes too!

Great fun day, missus and kids had a blast on the SUP this morning and SUP sailing early avo.
I waited 20 mins to rig once they chuffed off and got it bang on.
Goodness me Andrew Roagn was sailing like a man on a mission, so dam high the bugger!!!
Those Jet ski's are cocks!
JP SS 118 (only for Kurnell run then changed down) and JP Slalom V 92 bit under finned with the 34 cm C3 Sting fin but ah well. NP V6 6.5.

Bloody good fun sail but so hot!! Water was too warm and wind muggy as. Bit choppy today with the weed gone and glad I rigged the 7.0, pretty lit up at times. Had a few good stacks, a nice Alpha turned into grounding out at speed, round the front and ended up covered in black mud in the mega shallows. All good fun though Heaps of guys out and a few close calls but everyone having a blast. Just time your run down the course when everyone was nearly back upwind. Rotator cuff is really bad again, off for scans next week so had lots of stops, cant hold on.
Great sail with a top bunch of blokes. Shouldve gone down a board size.
Falcon 112, Evo V 7.0, custome weedy25.

First sail for ages. Good to sail with all the usual crew down at Kyeemagh. Good to chat with Rexy as he was waiting for the forecast. Felt really good on the water as ive sailed this combo a few times over the summer. Needed a slightly bigger fin to get me through the holes and the light wind.
Rigged up the new 76l waveboard and 4.8 sail. Tried to get it going but the wind didnt build. Next time.. :)

3610 days ago I went to Kurnell because I thought the car park would be over corwded by 3PM today, so I sailed from there to Kyeemagh.
Remind me never to do that again when the wind is above 20kts ! ! !
The 1M chop is fine, unless it is crossed by 2' swell running in different directions...
Anyway, a good sail, that I was waiting for all week.
iSonic 90L VMAX 31cm carbon fin (awesome!) and TRX 6.3 (sweet).
Oh and I took a few breaks on the beach to conserve energy on the way back.
Feeling better now, after a BBQ and 1/3 bottle of Penfolds!

Fastest speed was actually on the way north, when a good gust hit, I decided to turn back downwind and fang it along the runway. Would have liked to spend more time in the flat water with a 7.0 instead of fighting the insane chop on 6.3!
Oh and the best alpha was a planning laydown, sweet :)
