A get wet grovel in the smooth, tried the recently revamped 53deg 20cm, in the 65cm board. It felt more comfortable than the big deltoid did Friday, even though the wind was much lighter and the 6.6 bagged out to the max. Spun out once trying to push too hard upwind, but I was making good ground without spinning out, if I didn't press quite as hard.

Had it to myself, except for a kiter and of course all the crabbers.

Lilacs JP4Sp RSREvo V 7.0 PEPEcarbon weed 26 @48degrees.

Tried the pepesuperweedy in the 54, works well with the shalow weed we have at the moment. fun doing alphas with Shane. He is improving rapidly.

Glad to finally pass 13000kms. Nice second session for the year. Hopig for a session tomorrow but shallow water is a problem.

short runs show how limited the sailing area was, even then there was wed at both ends causing problems with gybes

Storm surgesite (http://www.transport.wa.gov.au/imarine/albany-storm-surge.asp) showing about .6m predicted and storm surge about -5cm so pretty accurate. Really need .75m+ for the area to be good.

Safety Bay, WA, AU Jp Freestyle, Cross 6.9, 26 weed wave

Went to Safety Bay so daughter could learn as well and the big board has a big fin (useful for slicing crabs at fangys)

Marginal wind and lumpy compared to the smooth groovin action of the last couple of days. Kamikaze Kite central today though - Don't they know my name? Anyone got some cheap jousting sticks?

Nice on the other side of the spit and the kids had fun. Mick has a passable water start and the start of a carve - not long before a flatwater loop....

Safety Bay, nice little sea cruise, just powered in the bay on 6.7.. wind filled in better later  but was tired to carry on.. better that a kick in the face anyway Laughing

First sail of the year.. missed all the last good sessions and got at least the crumbs Wink

Now all free to play for a while oooh yeah Cool

First time I use this 6.7, still got some live left, felt very stable

Misty95, RSR_6.7, Carbon 28Weed

Happy new year all Smile

Oops sorry for the confusion. Typing stuff on the iPad seems to result in all the new paragraph /returns being removed when I post. Impaler is the imaginary team member - I mean have you ever seen him? :-)
