Peli Point. A late sail with Troutty and later Steve. A bit of a blast around at first and then spent some time trying a few fast tacks. Considering I can't even slow tack, I'm pretty happy with a 17.79 tack-alpha Cool The hour included a trip to shore to guzzle out of the hose Tongue out A nice cruisy session. Just what the doctor ordered.

Coodanup, Fangy's

Great fun with a great crew  - just needed more wind. Rigged small expecting a blow, got only 15 to 20 knots, so under-done all afternoon.

Sailed mostly on the outside bank which was fine with the 45 degree fin.

Excellent team turnout, I think we out-numbered the locals Wink

Happy to get a reasonable alpha with the small fin because it felt like it was crabbing upwind.

Afternoon tea at Coodanup, not as strong as Liptons but still tasty. :)

Coodanup, WA, AU 5.7K, 21Tribal weedy, M47, then 85Sonic and 17 delta

Went to Coodanup expecting more wind. I was a bit worried I might be overpowered when I rigged the same size sail as the guys, but it turns out I was closer to the mark. They still managed better speeds though! Underpowered, but I still managed a top 5 nm and alpha.

Coodanup, Sonic 95 Koncept 5.8 , tried the 6.6 but still not "enough" wind, but still a beautiful sail. Will be back there ! High up on the fun scale. Great to sea the fish jumping out of the water around you. The little crabs are all so friendly too Smile

First time on my new Delta 19 fin. I really enjoyed gliding over the weed.

Nice comfortable wind so I thought I would give my hour and distance a shake; also because they were pretty poor.

Amazed to have got a PB nm because it was not that windy. Looking forward to more wind and trying again on a smaller fin.

Xfire 80 with 5.8 Koncept.

Wasn't much wind when I left home and it booted just after rigging.

Pretty overpowered on the 5.4 but it has good stability. Will try it with slightly over spec downhaul next time.

Pelican Point - IS101, CR6.5, Drake 36.  Nice change to sail elsewhere apart from Melville eventhough it was the same body of water, the condition is different.  I need to find time and motivation to go to Mandurah!

Whoo Hoo Ricey! 3 PB's in a session. I reckon that delta is a keeper! You are having a great month with lots of top 5 scores. Huge increase in your distance. Well done!

Congratulations Geoff on your alpha PB too.

Huge congrats on all those PBs Ricey. Brilliant U turn there Geoff - but I am not sure it was that much windier at Liptons. Stroppo only went a knot faster and normally he is well faster than me when on the same patch.

Very few of us actually sail at Pinnaroo Point... I have, once, just so I can say I have sailed there. It is not a speed spot.
