Pt Walter E. M137 7.9m Tribal 40 proto. Early one for me. not much time on water but was home by 8:50. Then back to work... doh. Honking outside at the moment must be 35+ in the gusts. Sadly it will be gone by morning.

lilacs Albany-

quick sail before having to hit the road, noticed it was picking up as i packed up..dohh

had a tight schedule.

spent 90% of the day tacking up to the top of the nm run..

m47/6.4/delta 19

if you could use something other than these fins here it would be epic.

spent a good deal of time pulling bits of grass weed out from under the front of the fin and noticed all of my nm attempts where short with

sizeable hockey sticks on the ends.

when alls said and done the location is pretty special.

I know what you mean, Bender. Congrats on the PB Snides. They don't come along too often after nearly 25000km.

Another 35+kn Nm - well done Snides. Sweet alpha too.

Out of interest is the lilacs run just a nm in length with very little room either end?

Cool run Snides Cool. Unless it has changed alot since I was there you can run normal weedies. I was using a KA23 assy OK even thru the weed sticking up out of the water.

Yes great mile snides. Sausage, Cheryl measured 1.3nm at the end of her run, but the start is a bit slow through heavy weed. There's enough room to be fully lit for the whole nm, if the tide isn't too low

cheers Guys,

The deltas actually work allright just that they feel dead but they do go upwind ok.

Cheers to stroppo to finally convincing me to plug a 19 into the 47-this trimmed up very nicely.

Snags, Decrep described it well-ill have another look at my track, but from memory the nmile started right at the launch

so you took a 100 odd meters to get up to a resonable speed.

The run would of been awesome if i could of planed into the start instead of beach starting it- next time!

Cheers Daz, used the mxr weedy 20 on sat but couldnt find a nice trim with it and it def bogged down on the gybes

in the weed when tacking back.

Great Stuff Snides, the tide was a bit low when its higher you can have a 2 to 300m run till you hit where everyone was launching from, and then a 45 degree weedy will get you thru, but the weed was just undr the surface, so the deltas were ideal, & yeh think of the speeds with a decent fin, but then it wouldnt be so flat for 2kmsUndecided
