Very gusty up and down sail today at VP and quite choppy (probably 10-22kts). But really enjoyed it and thought I would have broken the 30kt mark but way off. Think I am using too big a board maybe need to get around a 100L board instead of 112? Quite a few out when I got there but ended up sailing alone until the kiters came out.

Used JP Slalom 112L, 6.0 Severne Gator and 34 fin.

I had to miss you Greg, I got to VP around 2pm and nobody there. Was sailing till 5pm on my own as well. Yeh, it was quite choppy and gusty, definitely hard work..
