NIce strong easterly for the first session back after a 6 weeks break. It was great to see so many windsurfers out this morning.

Big turnout today - maybe 20 on the water.

Good 20 knots at about 8 - dropped off at 9 (just when I had worked upwind for a NM), then came back in at about 9.30. Nice moguls in the middle!

What a great way to start the day Loads out at Point walter, little on the rough side but i reckon it feels a bit more exciting and challenging trying to negotiate chop at speed. Wasted a bit of energy and decent wind getting back upwind after trying out the sand bar. Bit of green snot weed and too much kite traffic down there so wasnt the wisest of decisions but at least the downwinder there got the best peak speed. Water a bit on the nipply side close to shore but still warm out deep.

Point Walter - IS101, CR6.5, CaneFire 32.  Nice turnout at Pt Walter.  Was a bit too lumpy for my to be in control, and I think 2 broken battens on this sail does not help.

Point Walter, was rigged about 8:30 - just in time for the wind to drop a little bit but it seemed to come back ok. 6.6 Koncept, Mistral 112 , 33 Tribal Weedy. Lot of fun, plenty of people out, I felt a bit like a channel marker at times as people flew past me on either side

nice sail only a few on the water at peli or majestics and not many boats either

all up a nice sail

ran out of strength before i got all the rust off but at least I remembered how to rig some of my slalom gear
