Coodanup, WA, AU

First adventure down to Mandurah to hang out with the 'enemy'. Great bunch of guys, special thanks to Stroppo, Fangman, Saltynuts and Ryan for their hints & tips and for being brave enough to lend me some of their gear!

Got to jump back on my 76 iSonic for the first time in almost two years. Forgot how damn skinny it was! Eventually re-aquainted myself and even pulled off a few strap-to-strap gybes....why haven't I tried this flat water stuff before!?

Great stuff Ben, didn't actually meet you, but I think I almost crashed into once or twice.

Congrats on the PB alpha, I must admit some of your practice runs were quite impressive.

But I can't talk, crashed one gybe foot still in strap, luckily the pain eased quickly.

Hope to actually meet you next time you're down, unfortunately I had to rush off and couldn't stop to talk.

Thanks Chris.

I'll be sure to come over and say hi next time Mike, none-the-less it was still good to put a face to a name as we screamed past each other on the water.

As for my 'practice runs' I tend to practice most things by first learning about all the methods that don't work...Unfortunately the only way I've found to do so is to try each one...which usually ends, well, spectacularly Tongue out

Thanks Gents. Cookie I was watching the Low Head forecast all week hoping it would change, to no avail! I'm sure the stars will align sometime in the next few months
