Blackmans Bay, TAS, AU isonic110 r4 7.0 Downwinder with mad steve from blackers to sandy bay. Rigged too big for the wind/unfriendly chop and had a crash  at kingston that winded/knocked the stuffing out of me so was happy to see sandy bay after plenty of stops. Next timeSmile

Sorry about the pathetic hour Steve.

Tranmere. IS107, R3 7.0, DW38. Great quick sail. Quite bumpy conditions. Supprised about the hour and alpha as I was fighting for height a lot of the time. No bear offs, just fun sailing.

Stanley, TAS, AU

Nice pleasant sail with all my mates by myself.Cool

Drove up on a dodgy forecast but ended up a good day 20kts gusting to 30

Any day off work sailing in the sun and cracking 30+ puts a smile on the dial.Laughing

Blackmans Bay, TAS, AU. Isonic 87, Reflex 6 6.2 and 32cm Volt 2.

Al and I did a downwinder from Blackmans Bay to the Sandy Bay sailing club at Nutgrove. We did one about 6 months ago. Same wind direction and wind strength. Today there was a horror cross chop until you got past Taroona. Very hard going and I was on the limit with the 6.2 for the first 30 mins. The second half of the 1hr wasnt windy enough and would have been interesting to see my result if it stayed really windy. Well done to Al, Cookie and Will for the back up. Al I keep telling you are a mad man. He rigged up the 7.0 and I dont know how he sailed with that size, great job and gutsy effort. Only sailed for 1 hour and did 50km.

Montagu, TAS, AU, Took the speed board out for a run, should have been on the 112.

Wind was a good direction but too gusty for long runs on the small board. Still happy with the NM.

Sandy Bay, TAS, AU

6.2 OD R6  iSonic 97 & 34 Sting ll   iSonic 80 & 32 Viper

One of the best sails I've had at Sandy Bay for a long time. Was a nice cruisy sail on the 97 for about half an hour then the wind picked up and had a great fully powered up sail on the 80.Cool

Pipe Clay Lagoon, TAS, AU  What a great day to be on the water - really solid southerly and plenty of sun. TIde a bit high so the speed run was a little choppy. IS 76, SR4 6.2, MXR UFO Wide 24cm

Boat Harbour Beach, TAS, AU  Beautiful sunny day, and just enough time for a quick splash and a bit of physical exercise before work. Good to see a heap of others making good use of the conditions   and moving up the rankings,  well done.
