Ihr and Alpha from GT-31. All the rest from GW-52. Must get the the bottom of why this happens when I save the results.

Day 7 at Shark Bay with the sharks and Sea Snakes! Slightly better today as the tide was later and wind slightly stronger. Good direction to run the Port run at Risky's, but got slightly better speeds on Starboard as there were better gusts. Risky's was the sweeter, flatter run though. In 30+ knots it would be sensational with mid 40's possible! Just bring a sub 19cm fin!!! Wink

Sensational to get a good day speeding with Sammy and Mat! Mat was down about his speeds but he was running way too far out in the chop. I told him to follow me into the smooth shallows and then his speeds jumped up to simmilar to mine! Follow the old dog! Wink

The Run back accross the bay over the swell for the NM was one of the most exciting of the day! Yeeeharrr!

Wind in the 20-25 knots range with slightly stronger gusts in the middle of the bay. Unfortunately, on both sides where the runs were the winds were softer and you had to be very lucky to get a 25kt gust.

CA40, 19 sym fin, 2016 KA Koncept 5.4m.

Rick, I always post from one device only, even when I am carrying 4 or even 5 GPS which I do sometimes when testing stuff. The 5x10 from the GW-52 I posted was slower than the GT-31 gave me but I have decided I am posting fron the GW-52 from now on wherever I use it, better or not. I think it is a GPS-Results thing but is strange because I get the results in the program when I do them individually, but not when I 'save results'

Edit: OK. 6 hrs later I had a chance to run the file in GPS-Results again and got the figures directly from the screen.

1hr from the GW-52 is 14.512 Kts

Alpha from the GW-52 is 19.298 Kts

Both of the actual results are ever so slightly faster. Should I change them now I have them Rick?

BTW. When I 'saved results' this time the 1hr and Alpha saved in the text file. This is in the Mac version of GPS-Results. I would be interested to hear if any other users of GPS-Results has experienced this.

Incredibly close numbers Andrew & Matt - well done.  Andrew I see you just failed to meet the 50m proximity on your last alpha Wink
