Melville Beach, WA

Quick fang - wind too gusty and fluffy to have fun on the small kit which is all I had with me.

Good to catch up with (a very slim) Jay Laughing

M91,  KA 6.2,  CL SW 24   (also a few runs with the Delta 20 which was just horrible)

Nice ocean sesh at the home of the Pinnaroos. Chop was pretty savage today (guaranteed to clear colds, flu and sinus problems) so was happy to see 30 on the dial.

Nice hour on the river. Got down there as the wind was starting to drop so rigged the 7 6.2 and the M91 could have been an option but some big holes.

Coodanup, too light for the 6.6 and carbon art but went out anyway. Wanted to check I had fitted the fin to the board properly and seems like I got it right this time.

Windforce Wednesday Slalom. I had the GPS on for the start timing, so I thought I might as well upload the numbers to see how they stacked up. Essentially from reaching. It was a pretty good breeze this arvo which made for some neck and neck drags. Battled it out with Norts in a couple of races which was the highlight. Ended up equal second in the end I think which was cool. Luke on his Pryde was nailing the starts every time - awesome, but such a hard guy to catch!

Thanks to Steve for the beers and pizzas - always a treat! The new WWA shirts turned up too and they look great. Cool

Quick fix at the dutchmans place. Completely OPed on 6.8 and it was not possible to get any good speed. Still a great sail and looove these ocean blasts..

Dutchies to Salt and return.

Hooksey that it a super alpha for the ocean, especially when your peak was only 28.

I think I'd better check it.

Andrew, perhaps try and pick a blue sky day if you come up - it's not so inviting when it's overcast.

Thanks cap'n! Didn't think about it but the mile would have a gybe, the runs weren't long enough for a straight one. I bet it was in the last race chasing John, we were both pushing hard in that one
