Rigged big to get the most out of what was on offer. Was very nice and flat for the ocean with 15kn so i was doing nice long runs. Seemed to be a 17-20kn and rising when i was off the water before 4pm. Work for me tonight but good to get out beforeSmile

Leighton Beach

Fun (for a while) sail with Norts. Tried the small 34 fin cause the weedy was feeling so draggy. Ok but a 36 would be perfect.

Put my head through the panel while waterstarting, naturally enough when I was furthest from shore. Glad I had a Tribal sticker in the right place, stopped the tear from spreading quite well Laughing

Coodanup, Mistral 112 KA 7.3. Long smooth runs, not much of a top speed but still fun.

Couldnt quite get in to Fangies wave generator but I think the orchestra were playing gilbert and sullivan for the passengers as he went past.

Took along a bucket of mulies for the team pinnaroo cormorants, I dont know if I fed the right one but hopefully they got the idea and know what to do to get a feed.

Not quite enough wind for my setup so went out hoping the wind would fill in as promised by our captain. Took 40 minutes to get upwind before the wind completely dropped out. Surrounded by hungry crabs decided to head back but not before standing around in total calm (other then some mean looking crabs. Saw Jeff's sail number working upwind (next time Jeff). Notice wind picking up as I derigged. Try not to laugh when you see my setup below.

Melville - IS107, CR7.7 & Turbo 6.5, Volt 36.  Started off with too much sail then too little when I changed down.  Was a nice surprise to get consistent wind and flat water at Melville.  Had fun with gybe practices.  Biggest help was to look back at my wake as I carve.

Hardpiles -Only the super cool get to have fun on the Fangy party barge, not some blow-in handing out baitfish! Tongue out Excellent nauti given the wind and your 5x10!

70L! I don't think I promised that much wind. Looks like you had 26 km of fun anyway.

Nice naughty for the wind, Jeff!

Work for me today

Very nice Shaw! That gives me something to aim for.

Pinnaroos alpha of the day! This gybing thing sure is a slow process of incremental improvement. Lots of practice required. Keep it up.
