Caught a lost beachball but couldnt work out how to carry it back to the beach. Not the first time Ive seen one but first time I caught it. Assume they come from boats offshore or perhaps they get blown out in the morning and come back in the afternoon.
almost perfect, number of sailers (0), one guy turned up after work, just when I was ready to pack up.

Timed the arrival just right. Driving in there was a distinct line of whitecaps slowly edging its way across the smooth water to shore, pretty awesome. Always plenty of good people to have a chat with down there. Good bunch of Pinnas enjoying the challenge of speed across the choppy stuff too. Also timed the treck back to shore right too. Seemed to be dropping rapidly and it was a bit of a grovel to get in. So glad not to get caught out the back.

On the water at 4.20pm, a nice 20 to 25 knots. Met up with Lunny, Andrew & Jake on the Pengo's sandbank.
Had a few runs there, not too choppy and deep enough to go anywhere. Good fun.
The FSW is not much slower than the Mistral 91 in short squirts, but the lack of glide and fluctuating speed shows up over the NM.
