Light wind but better than none.
Enjoyed practising gybes - beginning to feel the benefits of the Guy Cribb course.

Nice change in scenery on a very warm day. Lots out making the most of an ordinary breeze. Used the big gear again.

Social Saturday, great to catch up with everyone. 12 to 18 knots and gusty but ok on the big board.

After work session, nothing grand today just practicing gybes and freeriding. With some of the gusts it would have been nice to have the smaller fin on but that was rare and i spent most of the time working my way around the holes. A nice way to finish a day still.

Jeff (13680km):
3230 days ago 2 categories Watermans , 5.8 wave panther, tried the 79l kombat but couldnt get planing, pleasantly surprised that I managed to get back to the beach at all. Then popped home and got my new (LWWB) light wind wave board (iSonic 123), worked surprisingly well. got planing and even managed to catch a sea/swell out the back when gybing. Had to watch the nose a lot to avoid plowing into the lumps. oddly coming in trying to get upwind was worst for that, kept digging in to the seas running across/downwind. Going out was ok. Nice day out at the beach in clear ocean water. Felt a lot "safer" with the small sail as I know I can water start or uphaul it compared to the bigger cammed ones. Only had to waterstart once and managed that ok.
