Lilacs JP54SP RSREV 7.0 MXR24 @45 degrees

Forecast was for 14 knots at 5pm, less before but at 1330 it was already looking goood and Shane was rigging. I rigged at 3.30 and launched with Cliff, Shane went back out having changed fins. Only powered ocassionally towards the end of the hour, but it was beautiful on the water with reasonable wind and sunshine.

As the hour went on th water evel was dropping so gybes resulted in fin dragging in wed more and more. A definite bonus sail since the forecast was not great and is not lookng good for a while. I need a fin with more rake. Tried to order a delta from MUF but hopeless website kept losing my cart details. Will try again today.

Albany, WA, AU harding rd isonic 76l , jp 101l , np rsr 6.4 , 19 delta speed , 26 weedy . tried a couple of combos boards and fins . I was about to pack up when steve and cliff arrived and with a little bit of arm twisting, changed the fin to the 26 weed fin I went and had another go. making my way out to the deeper water, hooked up in some weed and went over the handle bars with my "'not so good foot" still in the strap. did a couple more laps and then retired for the daySmile

Boggy Lake, SA, AU

SSW 12-20 knots, FF111, Loft Blade 7m, BP 36 cm

Started around 1.30 pm intending to only sail 3 hours max. Wind stayed, felt good so kept on sailing. Checked disctance at 150km and thought lets crack 200km. Last 50 kms hardest! Swapped fins after 1 hour from Lessacher weed 32cm to BP 36cm (could have done with 38cm in retrospect) Only managed to smack x1 carp without the subsequent caddy:-)

Good to sail the Fanatic Falcon 111, has enough flex to soften the short chop flogging:-)

Finished at 8pm and fastest run on very last run when was trying up top end for hours WTF!!

All in all a good days sail and quite a few others about to:-)

edit - updated and downgraded my 2 sec from 34 to 32 (there's no way I'd have done a 34:-(

PJ was already on the water well before I arrived at 2pm. I sailed 90kms myself and came back in when my hands started to delaminate.

PJ was still going hard as I packed up late in the afternoon. Hard core distance PJ, top effort. I am clearly soft!  :)

PJ great effort can't imagine how you can do that distance. I'm probably going to Boggy on Wednesday if you are interested. Geoff
