Bonaire Lac Bay. Sailworks Retro 7.5, NP EVO 5 7.8, iSonic 107, Drake Carbon 38. Wind: 12 G 15

Wind slightly lighter than yesterday - was marginal on the Sailworks Retro 7.5. After one run across the bay I rerigged to the the Neil Pryde EVO 5 7.8. Worked a lot better for power but had to up my game on gybing - the practice with the Retros seems to have helped in gybing the NP EVOs. The difference between the Sailworks (marginally powered) and NP EVO powered was about 5 knots! Curios to see what the difference would be if both were powered...

NP EVO6 5.4 EVO8 mod, Mistral Speed 42, Tribal Sym 23

A nice slice of ARooBar speed for the first day of spring. 3 months since the last session so good to blow out some cobwebs. Wind swung all over the place and lots of squalls, found myself at the wrong end of the course as they came through...bugger. Some higher speeds there for the taking. Trying out new EVO6 5.4 proto with some EVO8 mods, sweet little rig but never got fully powered up. Great to hear the speed bitch barking out numbers again....set her to German and KM so she sounded like angry Euro chick! Looks as if we might get a few storms this week so fingers crossed.

Roo, great to see back on the water! Sorry my backup was so weak.  Wind is forecast to get even weaker here over the next week. Glad you appeared to have fun!

Been running every day for the last 3 months to stay in shape, add in 100 chinups a day and I'll be ready for Hatteras.

Thanks James, pretty mild. Water in mid 40F range, air mid 50F. Didn't need gloves, only booties!
