Great day on the Basin with the Team and 1st ride on the new Manta 61. After a few runs and some fine tuning the new board felt great.

Patrik 100 / R5 OD 6.2

What an awesome two days! A great turn out today with over a dozen windsurfing at SP - and it was on a school day!

Really enjoying the Patrik however just need to find a fin that works with it as the Choco weed 28 and Vectra weed speed 27 struggled somewhat. Then again, it could be my technique that needs some attention too!

Loving this new Sailworks NX! Started with the AtomIQ, same as yesterday, then at the end hooked up on the Isonic 87 with a Vector Weedspeed 23.... with the slalom raceboard the NX came alive....shame I was so buggered!

Great day out, thanks to al the Gustbusters crew and the Inverlochie gang.....great to sail with you guys!

Good stuff guys. Glad to see you got some wind down your way too.

Tony, I think the common feeling is that Patriks require a lot of fin/lift. For example, I felt a bit under-finned today on the 100ltr, 7.3 and a 36cm fin. I should've had a 38 on. When you get the right lift on the Patriks they just glide over the top of the chop so beautifully.

I can't recommend a weedie, sorry, but I would imagine the bigger the better. I use a 20cm Delta and it's good on the 100.

I see you're enjoying the gybes on your new 100 though. What are your other thoughts about the board?

Nige, I have a 36 weedie that I might try next time I go out. Might look for a 34 one as well.

Overall though, I love the new board and am really happy with my decision to update from the Futura.

Good to catch up with everyone today. Nice PB Tricky that new sail looked nice in full flight. With so many guys on the water you would thought it was a summers afternoon in December. You could throw a blanket over the team in the 2S numbers.
