RS3 and 6.6m. Busy all morning and by the time I realised it was windy it was a bit late to set off to Buff. Went out for a quick blast at Coalie, but it was really patchy had trouble keeping on the plane in the huge cross chop. Never really got powered up.

Very fun day today , alot of guys out with big smiles , was only half a knot quicker on the smaller kit . Sorry to the sea eagle that i made drop his big fish .
Really loving the new warps , such a huge wind range and super comfy + slippery

2919 days ago 2 categories Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU - Exocet RS2, 7.0 OD, BP - wow that was so flat and fun. Spent most of the day just myself and Tibor drag racing each other both with 90lt boards and OD 7.0. Super fun I just caught a few better gusts thats all. Was very shallow in spots, heaps out awesome. Pulled off my first full carving gybe at full pace, only problem was i come out powered up on downwind angle so i just went with it. Still happy with my Alpha i'm getting better. ALSO anyday I post a faster time than Andy is a great day

Anyone can sail well with the right gear for the conditions. It is character building to test your resolve & endurance by going out with the wrong gear, when you know it might be good or might be terrible. Throw the dice, take the chance, be prepared to walk back in for an hour or so, to feel that sinking sensation because you took a speed board when the wind is not strong enough, rejoice in the challenge.
So, I reckon I have a lot of character by now, after yesterdays effort & today seeing a great southerly, rigging 5.5 & speed board with sub optimal results & then going with RS1 & not bothering to rig a bigger sail. Why make lfe easy!
Thanks to Steve & Tibor for the good oil on the conditions after I arrived late.
