South Fremantle, WA

A bit overdone, wind kicked in to a solid 25 knots and the chop got stupid.

Bailed before the end of every naughty today - started to lose it each time even with 6kg extra weight Embarassed

Think I've got Buckley's of doing a 30 NM at my local Frown

Was overpowered for much of the session until I changed to the 29 weedy. Had a good run over the sand bank at the end when it was less crowded. Saw a few pinaroos and ex-pinaroos out enjoying the wind.

6.2 reflex, 97 iso, 33 then 29 tribal ws.

Nice change at Liptons with plenty of familiar faces. Would like to have stayed a bit longer but had a gathering to go to.

Pinnaroo Point,  102L/6m - it was quite choppy today. Slightly overpowered on 6m. Still recovering from the shoulder injuty, so keeping it short. Nevertheless - a very nice day on the water.

Fun day at Liptons. Good to catch up with some of the Coastal Mobsters. Good turn up from the Pinnas with Andrew, Craig and Jake also making the trip. Always be weary when you turn up here and everyone in the carpark is seating around sanding their finsCool. (probably the differecne between my 35 and 40!!) Thought I'd look proffessional and brought out the metal file but was caught out very quickly. I'll be back! (with wet n dry next time).

The tide was too low for the fins I had so had to take the 20 Delta which worked ok and gave me confidence to venture into the shallow stuff but the speed really suffered.

The M91 with 6.2 was super comfy in the conditions thanks for the tips Sammy maybe a 2" PB next time.

Good to catch up with the locals.

Super fun day but the hands are complaining.

Nice flat water but gusty wind. What a surprise for Melville!

Rocket 105, Koncept 5.8 and 24 delta. Fin had a bit too much surface area, but used it to get thorugh the shallow water over the sand bar.

Purchased a Lockwood speed weed 33 and looking forward to trying that out in similar conditions.

Got a few good planing gybes and 29.5 is a PB for the board. Shame I could not crack 30 kts but there it is.

Good to see Shaw and Geoff going well.

Just another day at the office. Liptons, WA, AU. Big day on the water today with fellow Pinnas Tailwind, Flatchat and Lunny and a swagger of the coastals and mobsters too.

Wind never really kicked in like we'd all hope for, so it was a day on the Sonic 85 today. I did put on the SP47 at one stage, but it was so underdone I changed back up to the Sonic after about 15 mins. Wasn't mad keen on running into the corner where everyone else was, as the weed in there just gives me the creeps and I had a 26cm fin on so no thanks. Did try a few runs over at Pt Grey, but the wind was super flukey over there so just spent the arvo blasting around and trying to put the pedal down across the middle. NM ended up being a run with a gybe in it - go figure!

Super fun session with all the usual Liptons crew. Stoked. Cool Cool

Edit: Just checked for you FlatChat - 100km @ 23.3kn

Sonic 85 / SP 47 briefly (bad idea), RB 6.3, FO Weedster 26cm / 23 Slingshot

Smokin 100km jake. I was getting fatigued just watching you going back and forth. I actually did a fly bye to make sure you weren't on auto pilot. 170km in 4.5 hrs. Very impressive. Also well done on the pbs Shaw and Andrew.

Absolutely smashed it Snake, that's a great days sailing with fantastic numbers in all categories. The rest of the team did really well in providing some nice back up & quite a few PB's to top it off Smile

Well done, team, and super session, Jake! That is an awesome set of numbers. Sensational hour, alpha and distance. You really should have done that at Coodanup and you would have one of Fangys trophies in the bag. I guess I will forgive you for not wearing your GPS yesterday...

Great backup, Andrew. Did you realise how close to 100km you were? Maybe yes. I have done 95 km. That extra bit is a long way after 95.

I could have come down late but I could see from the crew that were heading to Liptons that you would have it all in hand.

Congratulations on the PBs everyone. Nice gybing Andrew and Shaw! Shaw, probably your numbers can stand as you are not vying for the top positions and your score today has not contributed to the team score, however it would be safer and preferable for you to use an approved device.

Good work on the 5X 10 Tim! Shows you are not a one run pony.

Craig, a good solid all round session from you, as always.

A top team session, with a big boost up the ladder. Well done everybody!

Great stuff on the PBs Shaw, Tim & AndrewLaughing Oh and Jake im glad it wasnt an eery illusion messing with my head on the water. I kept seeing this lightning fast flash of loft orange, but before my brain could register if it was you or not, it was gone! Is it a bird? Is it a Plane? Clearly its SuperJake!
