Windsup (8246km): Francois Peron National Park, WA, AU Fanatic speed 47, MXR 20 ASY, Severne R6 6.2 & R2 5.6 Shotgun trip up to sharkbay with the master, First time on the MXR Asy fin and what a difference! solid throughout the whole session even gave me confidence to bear off in the choppy stuff without a hint of it sliding out. Started on the 6.2 with peaks around 39 knts changed down to the 5.6 as the wind picked up and snuck in a few more knots for the PB before the tide got to high and the speeds dropped off. Got some good advice on the run which helped with the ten sec Highlight was watching Doddi attempt to take out the land speed sailing record as he beached him self on the sandbar, not from just clipping but by driving meters up on to it!

Doddi (7589km): Shark Bay Mistral 41, Tribal asy 18, TR16 5.5 Stoked to get up here again with awesome company by Craig. Arrived in Style thanks to Craigs cruiser which is very comfy..Tide was perfect when arrived but on its way in pretty quick. Snag a few runs in some gusts. Fantastic watching Craig send it. This bloke has no fear. Expect big things from this lad. |
