SSE from grovelling for couple hours at start to end of day mid 20 something and nuking.

Fanatic 113-KA Koncept 6.2m-C3 Sting2 36cm

Camped on spit overnight and was blowing its tits off then eased as I touched the water at 0630 hours then eased some more. There was a magic flat water alpha section on the eastern side that kept me trying all day! I'm pretty happy with pulling a 300 today, yay:-)

Sonic 56w, Koncept 6.2 + Delta 19, Koncept 5.4 + Tribal SW 23

Heard PJ was going out so main aim today was to try & back him up with a bit of distance.

Wind was more North of East today & started with the 6.2 & Delta combo, tried for an hour but without the NM to start it with. Felt really good for the 1st half but wind steadily built & was a bit over on the 2nd half, an adjustable outhaul would have been handy!! Had a crack an a NM before going to change down to save my arms.

Was joined after the change by Sandy & Sean from the Southsiders, they looked like they had a good time doing NM's & blasting around. The 5.4 was a lot more comfortable & the Superweed really came into it's own today, very impressed with it. Had an excellent attempt at re-breaking my ankle where the plate is, foot twisted in strap laying across the board & give it a good wheck with the mast Yell Cry Yell Cry

Got pretty fatigued towards the end of the session & made the decision to head in before I did more damage to myself. Of course I managed to stuff up my launch & give the ankle abother whack IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT!!!!!!!

Apart from that, damn good fun Smile

Great distance PJ, that shows staying power keeping at it as the wind builds and builds.

Morts: very sorry to hear about the ankle, hope you quickly recover. There are some huge forces involved when things go pear shaped with our sport. Well done on 4 second places and a fith in yyour top 5. That is a great session.

Casually knocking out those numbers is pretty cool.

Fantastic, Morts and PJ!

Rreally glad you could get out Jeremy, there was only a brief late squirt here, we wouldn't have been anywhere near as good a back up.

Well I'm not surprised by either numbers, I know what both of you are capable of, great sailors that you are.

Hope that ankles OK for the weekend Jeremy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! Massive K's Guys. Well done! CoolCool

That must have been the first good LG Sou'Easter for the season. I was nearly temped to do the trip. Smile

Reading between the lines, it looks like there are at least some small patches of flatish water there at LG now?

PJ they are some awesome kms, I'm just happy to get a half decent result to back you up with Smile

Ankle feels good, my little toe which I took a chunk of skin off with a shopping trolley that morning hurts more. Yeah I'm a bit of a clutz Embarassed

sboardcrazy I've had my plate in for 15-20 years & have found it's still quite sensitive to direct impacts, even not particularly hard ones. I think your doing very well to back sailing well already Smile

PJ,

Amazing. 300ks and still not a PB!  Are you made of steel these days? And you were not using a weed fin?

Hi Morts, I have a bunch of photos of you from Monday. If you would like copies, message me on SeaBreeze (I am Rindwider) with your email address and I will send them to you. I think Evets also has my contact details (sorry I missed catching up with Steve on Sunday). Cheers, Windrider.
