Shane121 (6794km): Albany, WA, AU Harding rd . jp 101 , 55 slalom speed ,NP evo 5 6.4 , delta 24 and micheal weedy . Awesome day on the water and the sun was shining with Jeremy , Steve and Cliff . Had a couple specky stacks at the end of the nm run
evets (21500km): Lilacs Mistral 91SL TR16 7.0 Pepeweed 27 That was Lilacs at its best. so much fun. That is the conditions I wanted for the baord and fin, add this sail and it was excellent fun. Went to rig the 6.3 and realised it goes on th mast I had not taken: the forecast had dropped away to 18 kts. It was a bit stronger towards the end of the hour, I was focussing on survival rather than just speed. Thrilled with the sail, it felt excellent and rigged to the manufacturers spec straight from the bag. Excellent twist, felt great in all the variations the wind threw at me. The sail and some of its siblings arrived today. Feel completely vindicated (and quite relieved) having used it today. Looking forward to using the smaller ones in the right conditions. Need to move the mast base closer then the 10mm from the front I had it, I had numerous tailwalks in the stronger gusts. I really really enjoyed it today. Great to be on the water with Morts, Shane and Cliff. Posted fromKA72
PJ (24612km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU SSW 15-20 knots with occasional fronts and lulls. Last hour was best for wind and consistent, had flat battery by then:-( Patrik 100-Loft Blade 7m-Select S7 35cm Geoff, Chris, Andrew, Carl, Phillip and a couple of others there. Chris S did well to survive a gnarly strong front that I stayed on terra firma through with Geoff. Highlight of my day was gunning with a another fellow who was slightly upwind and out the corner of my eye saw his feet cartwheeling over his head. got to hurt. Lowlight of my day was trying to feather around the tip of a reed bank, then got headed then decided to sail through it glugging but came a cropper did a slow dismount doing the splits with a leg semi trapped and twisted under my boom. Kept on sailing after no problems but now my hip is f$%ked today:-(

That's one way to get over nightshift!
Fantastic day on the water with Steve, Shane & Cliff. Good day to try an hour but I stuffed it up by finishing one lap short, so my hour includes a couple of minutes working up to the NM launch spot & a bit of standing still. What a goose! Perhaps I should get a watch...
Other than that stuff up was great fun, all the key ingrediants were there solid wind, good tide & great company. What more can you ask for!
Steve was flying out there today
