2856 days ago Pelican Point, WA, AU 96 Supercross 5.5 Gator 32 GW. Good fun playin in the Peli chop, fun ramps around the red marker and the occasional one before the boat (Pelican). At the end would have been more comfortable on wave board and 4.7. Lots of people enjoying/getting bashed by the wind.

Great arvo with a bunch of friendly people as usual.
Wanted to compare the M112 with the Isonic 107. Probably only spent 15min on the Isonic as the Mistral felt solid in the chop.
Too lazy to change sails so i wrestled with the 7.0 which was really stable considering the wind strength.
I guess the results confirm the Mistral went ok after her plastic surgery

2856 days ago Pt Walter. Didn't start well, my main panel decided to pop when I was rigging. Quick spin home to grab some tape and then headed out with a dodgey patched up sail for a quick sail in the gusty chop.

Gusty but fun. Probably the strongest breeze this summer. Incredibly hardly anyone out. Speed runs were awesome as you knew no one was going to be in the way. Although abit bumpy and lumpy, it twas a good session had by all. A river PB so one happy camper. Finally got the 27 weedspeed specifically for this combo and looks like a winner.

Tiga 260 Plastic Fantastic, 27 Fin Unknown Brand, KAR 6.3
Took the Tiga for a spin today, Tabou under repairs for the next 2 weeks, was fun getting back on the flexi plastic board good to see a few out today on the water. The old girl nearly managed a 35 peak was 35.7 just couldn't hold for the 2 sec think maybe the 12 kg of board could have had something to do with it

Only a small group out this arvo, i think 50% were Pinnas super gusty but lots of fun. I was having trouble keeping the board on the water when the gusts hit and just could not line up a good speed run.
Boz was working some majic on the plastic fantasitc,
Tim and Jeff were smashing some good numbers

Got down when the wind was still a bit light and saw Lunny on a 7m so decided to rig up the 6.2. Started to get a bit overpowered after a few runs so changed to the 5.5m the wind picked up even more and I was starting to get way overpowered on that. was going to call it a day early so I could leave in one piece but went for one more run which turned into a dozen more runs as the peak speeds steadily increased. Probably should have manned up and gone for more runs near pt grey where it was ballistic and flatter.
Had a go on Decrepit's 68 litre speed board which was an experience. thanks Mike. definately takes some getting used to.
Well worth the drive and good to see everyone getting stoke at Liptons. Congrats Jeff on smashing your PB and congrats to Lunny for the fantastic NM PB. Im sure there will be more PBs from others today.
Seeing Stroppo powered up on a 6m I thought I probably should get a 4.5m sail for days like this.

2856 days ago Liptons, CA Speed (Kermit), KA Race 6.2, mxr 24 weedy. Got there pretty early and had a great day. Hadnt replaced the harness line I broke on Saturday so still had the bit of rope holding that together. Broke the other one about 5 and figured that was a sign. Was getting pretty hard to hang on anyway. Getting back from Pt Grey across the channel was daunting but the plastic tube held it together long enough (was trying not to put too much load on the harness but it wasnt really the day or conditions for that). Got back ok so all good.
