Quite rough out there today compared to last week. Tad more wind but the chop slowed things down. Tried the 7.8 on the 112 but it didn't feel as comfy as it does on the 137. Only thing to try was wacking on the 137 and it ended up being faster and more comfortable. Just shows you need to change things around and bigger can be better. Quite a few out, Ken with the new beast and Rog was belting around. Firey Simon showed up and confessed to seeing the biggest shark he's ever seen on the pengos sandbar. Strange thing was Brendon had just finished telling me about one at the same spot yesterday. Hmmm catch me if you can sharky. I did see an orange Ka sail looking a lot like you Anita but i had to race off to work.

Didn't get out in time today to make the most of it. Still a great late arvo sail and snatched a nice ride on the stern wave of the Rotto ferry. Pity the ferry has slowed down so much from a few years ago.

Seabreeze graphs said 25-28 knots but only felt like 18-21 knots. First time to take the futura for a run. Definately more comfortable than the Isonic in the choppy bay and bit easier to gybe. 30 mintues into the session another windsurfer shouted to me that a big shark was spotted on the sand bank near pengo island. Was thinking of heading back in but really wanted to go a full hour so I sailed in the bay and the sound making sure I didnt fall in. Smile

A delayed start (husband was late returning my car) meant I missed the best of the wind but still got a consistent 15 - 18 which was probably better than I would have got on the river.

A very pleasant late seabreeze, and warmish too.

I am glad I missed out on seeing the very large shark.

Caught up with Ken at Carlisle St after sailing. He was happy with his new Windforce board.

A nice afternoon session at Dutch Inn, had a delayed start noticed when rigging the ali boom was cracked around the same location as the last boom, looks like a carbon boom is in order as this is the second new boom in 5 months. Lao was great in offering his spare carbon boom so after a quick dash to his place was on the water. My rigging was shocking and struggled to get going on the Race sail so after a quick few blasts on Lao's board re rigged the Race and had heaps of fun out with the Tiga. Felt like a summers day

Good work team, to get us on the board for April. Lunny leading the way as usual with great back up from Cannonball and Ken.

Thanks to everyone who sailed today. It was rather nice out on the water.
