Patrik 115 7.0 OD and VMax 39.  Nice Day sailing around with Dezza and Andrew.  Tried to bit of an hour today but was off my game managing to fall 4 times in the hour.  Not happy Jan.  Anyway the water was warm.  Thiink my gybes where a bit wide as well.  Kyeemagh, NSW, AU

Initially rigged larger, but got caught out before too long at all (along with Dezza and Mari who also rigged 7.8). After that the 6.3 with a bit less downhaul and outhaul, was plenty. Usual smiling faces showing up - great afternoon!

Quick blat after work with the usual  crowd including Nigel from Kurnell.

Fun in the sun for sure.

Was a PB of sorts with no stacks today and some snappy jibing. Unfortunatley the Alpha doesn't reflect what I thought was some fast  turns...

Another decent Ne drag racing the bossman. People must be saving themselves for Wed!!

Nigel visited from Kurnell, good luck on the way back!

Oops, drove home with my  GT 31 still on.

Hope George can fix it.

Barks I felt like I did a few quick gybes as well.  Reckon I was outside the 50m as the priority was the hour.  I think the priority is keep the board planing however, especially when it is a bit lighter at the ends of the runs.   Congrats on your no stack PB!  Is going to be hard to beat.

Guys get yourself gpsresults, you can then fiddle with the alpha radius and see how much wider was your fast jibe,  at least you know even if not recorded for gps purposes. But it's true sometimes its just more fun doing it wide.

I downloaded David's file and here it is, a Jibe at over 22 knts...and fiddling with the filters I can tell you that it was over 90 mtrs wide.

Thanks for the track analysis George!

My 50m spatial awareness is obviously wide off the mark so to speak.

Still feels good though with a good fang in and out of the gybe.Cool

I got both, but find gpsresults a bit more user friendly. And now off to Budgi, good luck everyone sailing today Smile
