Melville Beach, WA, AU A sneaky sail at Melville after lunch. Didn't have the time for a trip south today. I tried to work on my alpha shapes today so I can be more consistent. It was a bit gusty though, which made it hard to line up turns. Was just enough water over the sand bar for the 27 and this was where I played. A good turn out of familiar faces. Saw Tim on shore and heard about his big stack. Hope your wrist is Ok mate. Get some ice on it and no drinking for a week hahahahahaSealedLooking forward to seeing the posts from the great southern lands.

Coodanup, WA, AU

Like Yacht Rock, this place is smoooooth.

First up I went to Liptons but it didn't seem as enticing as yesterday for some reason, so I went around to Coodanup for the first time.

I had a lot of fun despite only rigging a 5.0. I was a little worried about weed-bergs like people used to worry about the Bermuda Triangle. I knew I was ok when Decrepit nodded approval at my fin (Delta XT 18). Saw the Fangman so I now know he is not a myth.

Liptons again with Tomski, Stropp, Boz, Snides and Cheryl. Nice day on the water again. Probably had a little too much downhaul today and stuffed up the mast track again, but too lazy to change once I got out there. Some nice runs across the middle today and just a nice session all round. 29 definitely feels under finned for this board. Might need to play around with the mast track and see if that helps.. Great arvo Cool

Peel Inlet, WA, AU

Fun on the water today, not as windy but a nice little cruise. Was going to go for an hour but too much chit chat at Point Grey I will leave that for Sunday if any one is interested going for the hour. Good bunch of people down at Liptons having lots of fun.

Melville Beach, WA, AU

Wally world was cranking at 5pm but this time of year being as social as it is I had people coming over at 6pm.

I set myself up for a solid hour using a pointer and slightly larger board. I was never really comfortable, quickly stopped once in the hour to move the mast track forward otherwise I would've needed a pilot's license to carry on. As soon as the hour was up I switched to the smaller board with weed fin and headed to Wally world but I only had time for a few runs before the guests were due. First run hit 36! Slowy was there making the most of it and a couple of others showed up and for a moment it was crowded. Wish I had the time to do a full session at point walter. Saw Jase there earlier when I was out on the one hour session, would have joined him but I didn't have the weed fin on.

Good to see Tim whilst watching Jase's gybes before heading off on teh water.

Great day on the water again leaving me craving for more time on teh water.

Well that was more fun than expected. I could just not make up my mind if the drive to Mandurah would be worthwhile and in the end stayed local and was not expecting to much. I started off on the M91 and could not get comfortable so switched over to my old RRD and decided to try an old weedy, the fin was all over the place and gave not grip at all but decided to stick with it and surprised myself with a PB for this combo, I had previously never been over 30Kn on this board.

Nice PB Rob! Now you know why we like to make the trek to Mandurah even though it is a long way. Glad you had a good time.

Snake, I asked for a hot hour, and you certainly delivered. Was the one legged one able to back you up?

I really wanted go sail Mandurah today but my body had other ideas. I wish I could put in a good session day after day like you guys can.

Well done Rob, I nearly went to Fangy Land but I do like Liptons. Tim  for a sprained wrist you need to keep sailing it will mend itself,  this is coming from a person who has first hand expierence in treating injuriesCool See you on the water tomorrowSealed

Tim, sorry to hear about the wrist, just after we shook hands with my dodgy wwindsurfing wrist I'd just had strapped by the physio I can recommend. The windsurfing is fine for the wrist, just try not to strain it again.

Remery, nice PB although your probably getting used to hearing that.

Jake, Top work once again.

Tim thats what happens when you go for the glory gybes around team mates. Ask me I know I did the same thing 2 weeks ago, luckily I only banged my ribs. That mast must have been a dud because it was not a big stack and you had slowed down alot.

Thanks for the hour backup, Ben, and good work in scoring another top 5 2 sec, after a second best yesterday. You have this speed thing really dialled in!

Andrew, congratulations on a top5 2 sec for you also. Imagine what you might have done at Liptons!

Boz you left out half your sentence. I fixed it for you;

"Well done Rob, I nearly went to Fangy Land but I am banned because last time I went I killed off half the weed...." Cool

Remery, sorry we didn't get to meet - next time come and find me for a chin wag. Congrats on the nauti too Laughing
